No. Usually if the dipstick blows out or oil blows out the stick hole it's because there is nowhere else for the pressure to go. All engines, new or old develop crankcase pressure. even a new engine will blow a dipstick out if there is no other vent (such as the pcv system.) Check the PCV valve if you have one. If you don't you need an opening of some kind on the valve cover. Very old engines had the vent built into the oil fill cap. I'm not sure when they stopped using those but they could clog up cause problems. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
