Do what everybody with leaky oil pans doesnt take the time to do...correct the mounting surface of the pan. Tap all the dimples around the bolt holes back to flush, make sure the sealant groove is spotless then run your continuous bead of sealer in the proper location per the manual and then mount it up.

Two longer bolts?? Hmmmm are you meaning the studs that go midway down each side of the oil pan??

X2...I use "The Right Stuff" sealant. I can't say it's better than FIPG, but it's never let me down.
