I used JB Weld on a Dodge Cummings diesel engine block when it had a rod go through the side of it and it has held for 3 years now.

If it can hold up to the pressure generated by a Cummings diesel engine for 3 years under hard load, it's got my vote.

Sorry to keep this thread going. Just had to add my $0.02 worth on JB Weld.
