[Re: Stinson] #736384 07/14/06 05:28 AM Joined: May 2006 Posts: 457 Northern Calif D Davepet Mudrunner My 84 FSM says under "Engine hesitates/poor acceleration: Carburator problems: Float level too low Accelerator pump faulty Power valve faulty Choke valve closed (hot engine) Choke system Fuel line clogged The whooshing sound is most likely the air injection system doing it's thing.
