Ok So I am swapping in a 4.o and an aw4 out of an xj into my TJ...I have seen the write ups on the aw4 install, but can anyone think of any reason other than it being a PITA of why I couldnt take the complete wiring harness from a 99 xj and put it in my 99 TJ....I know it would be a little longer, but I was looking at the dash and everything is identical...

No clue. I think it would be best to unrap the entire XJ harness and splice into the TJ harness. There shouldn't be too many wires to splice, and you'll find alot of stuff will fall out...
