Need a Spot
Hey guys, quick question. Stereo was jerked out of my truck a while back. I drive 50 minutes each way to/from work. no music is BAD! :-p Anyway, the amp and speakers are still there, so im going to just run some RCA cables into the amp from my laptop. Problem is, I need a switched/key-on 12v power source to start the amp up. Anyone know where i can find one on a 92 4x4 pickup with no power windows, no power locks?

When the guy jerked it out he managed to screw up some other stuff, too. Dome lights dead and so is my clock. Those things are trivial though! What i REALLY need is tunes. :-p

Thanks for any help.

Cigarette lighter is one common source. For my stereo, I ran a new power and ground wire from the battery back to the cab (fused of course) and it is a lot quieter than any of the factory circuits. It is not switched but that way I can have the radio on w/o the key.
