My advise .. is get the Japanese fuel filler inlet tube , and spout .. and use that .

I know nothing about differences between Japanese & USA fillers. My problem is that the 84 USA pickup filler location & the 87 USA 4runner filler location are different by about 6-8" & so are the inlet locations on the tanks.

Could you elaborate on how the Jaapanese parts will work with my parts? Any idea where I'd get those parts?

sorry ,I read it wrong ... filler necks are different between the 2 units , but I dont think thats what your asking .

you just need a longer filler hose ?

back in the old days , body lift kits came with a filler "extension" .. cut the hose and clamp the extension inbetween ...

othere then that .. you'll have to cut the mount .
