if the tranny is out do the rear main seal!!! and get a shim kit from EB. he is a member here and has a great website and products. I did a motor swap with a remanned motor about 3,000 miles ago and its allready leaking again. It my mistake for not knowing about the shim kit b4 swapping the rear seal. now I have to pull the tranny and clutch again to put in a shim kit and rear seal. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> I've never heard of a shim for the rear seal either (of course that's not surprising) are you thinking of a speeedi-sleeve like for the front seal?
I would rather suffer the consequences of a Conservative?s error, than suffer the consequences of a Socialist's intent.
