You might want to pull the vacuum lines and make sure they or the fittings are not plugged with crud. Mine fittings were totally clogged to the point I had to use a small drill bit to auger them out. And if that is working properly, you'll definately notice an idle speed change. And you will hear the pypass air hissing almost like a leaking tire, it can be petty loud.
