Anyhow the best part of this whole experience was being able to drive the sob onto the trailer. yes.. even ripped apart like that... it drove and steered

That is better than the Australian video where they beat up the little toyota truck. Wish you had video of you driving it like that. Sorry if that seems wrong for me to take some enjoyment out of your difficulties, but I take it with sympathy for all the energy you have put into your truck.
Thanks for sharing.

Yea mudholes are tough. I wasn't nearly as stuck as you were and I broke a main leaf once in a mudhole, I only slightly feel your pain. Mud is probably the hardest terrian for a rig.

Man that sucks though, almost a total loss. At least you are a capable builder so you have that going for you.

Well at least you have admitted there will be a possibility of future wheeling. I know you have talked about building a buggy but if it were me I'd look for a clean solid truck and runner frame and rebuild your truck better and badder. You might be able to get a power train attached to it to replace the one you lost.

im definitly torn between parting out and keeping stuff. My problem is im completely broke and in debt i really shouldnt even have been wheeling i cant afford it right now. Mainly its finding a solid truck in this area and being able to afford it.

I have big goals and very little income at the moment. I would like to rebuilt a truck instead of a buggy would be easyer. But its finding a solid truck to do it on. I just cant deal with rust anymore.

Something about northeastern mud, cement like quality to it.
I get toatly freaked when riding my YZ426 through deep mud / swampy areas, absolutely hate it myself, I stay to track mostly when I moto now. A buddy sunk an IT175 once to the top of his rear wheel, only half a bike. Incredible how it was cemented in there, we could of easily bent up his swingarm, rim, etc.
At least glad you got it home Tyler!
Take care and yes keep us posted on your next build-up.
Are you gonna re-use the bed?
