But its finding a solid truck to do it on. I just cant deal with rust anymore.

Tell me about it. I had so much into my runner when the frame decided to show its worth. I let it go and waited close to 6 mo. for the truck that had a good frame and little rust. It payed off though I got a solid platform and at a real good price. When I'm done I should be able to sell it for what all I've put into it and purchase price so I feel it was a good deal.

My advice is don't make any rash moves, keep what you have and pull it appart in your spare time. Wait for a good platform to come along at a good price and scoop it up. Heck you could get in touch with someone is AZ that can find one for you for a real good deal. being in the US that would be a no brainer.

Those are unbelievable deals. Those trucks would go for like 5 times that much here. And yes I'm serious.

Well heres my plan. Im going to get anouther truck i think i mighta found one for 550. Depending on how decient the frame is. its a reg cab shortbed though. I kinda want an extra cab. but this is what im gunna do

3 link coilover front
4 link rear
hydro assist steering
38s
duel tcase (when i can afford it)
same axles i have
3.4 motor when i can afford it.
caged
etc etc

Anyone who finds me a sweet deal on a mint frame, i offer my fabrication services to at cost of materials.

This is a perfict platform. Now find an extended cab that you can put on that frame then front bob the bed and away you go. That would be my ultimate.
