i ripped the exhaust off my '96 xj on a rock a while back. i frankensteined what was left the exhaust(the remaining part that wasn't wrapped around the rear axle) back together. the problem is, the downstream O2 sensor wires were pulled out of the top of the sensor and the rest wrapped around the front driveshaft and the connection box disappeared so i have no idea what goes where. i got a new sensor and tried to wire it back up by basically guessing which didn't work. i can't find my haynes manual for it but i'm not sure the diagram i need is even in there. i've tried to find info online but google is letting me down(for once).

can anyone look in their manual for a '96 xj and try to find the wiring diagram for the downstream O2 sensor? it's a 4 wire sensor. i need to know what color goes to what so i can try again. i just don't want to pay $80 an hour to some guy with the same basic mechanical skills as me fix it because he has access to all data. of course, i will probably go to a wrecking yard and cut the harness out of a wrecked one before that. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
