My trooper died coming home from work one day........took it to the shop,thought either the lifters crashed or timing jumped because it happened suddenly!mechanic calls and says everything checks out but truck wont run?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />Pulls comp test think he said around 225?,got spark,fuel,timing marks on line.they took exhaust down to see if cat was clogged......nope!
Can anyone think of where else to look? I've had the noisy lifter thing for years....could they fail and still give a good compression number?I'm lost on this one!!
