Well my main reason for doing away with the smog pump was that I could change the breather to the card, two lines come off the pump and and connect to the factory breather. i figured I could just do away with the pump upgrade to a better breather and just a smaller breather to hook to the pressure relief tube that also connects to the stock breather. But, I was told that if do use a smaller breather the pressure relief tube, then when im stopped then smoke when come out from under the hood cause, its not being sucked back into the engine through the card.
