Those rules that you gave for driving up there are spot on. I remember making the same trip you did, and almost becoming road kill once or twice along the way....of course its a little hard to just 'punch it' when you have 7000 lbs. of 1954 Buick and trailer loaded on your tail....they dont care up there, though... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> We had to take the NJ turnpike all the way up to Bayone, NJ...right across the river from NYC. We rolled into Newark around 1:00 AM, and boy were we scared. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> (Carjacking capitol of the US, as I have been told...)
