Usually there is a torque range instead of one specific value (not always though, IE IMG gaskets) so I normally set mine for the middle of the range. That way if its off a little (most likey) theres a good chance of being within range.

Anything under 20 ft lbs I use an inch lb wrench. More accurate at low values then a ft lb wrench.

Would like to get mine calibrated though.
