Yeah I wouldn't. I had my 35x12.50 spare tire mounted on one of my stock rims. It worked ok for the spare, but it was crowned in the middle, so they'd were fast.

after new rim, its hard to tell from the pic but when the tire was on the 6" wide rim, it was way thiner than on the 10" rim.
