I calculated gas to be about 165 dollars (1100 miles/18mpg*$2.85/gal), and the dolly rental is only 130ish with the UHAUL, so even If I had a spare driver to drive it, it would still cost more. I don't think it will cost much extra gas in the UHAUL truck to tow it.

do you really want to risk damage to your isuzu, not to mention the hair-raising possibilities towing that beloved thing over the rockies, etc. ...

...all to save $25.00 to $30.00 inflated american?


i can understand if for sure for certain you can't get a driver, but i'd think it'd be worth it even if it cost a bunch more.
