Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm trying to finish putting in my 22re engine and a couple of the labels I made on the injectors came off. I have two of them labeled still though. One of the "mystery" injectors is blue, the others are all white. Can anyone tell me which cylinder the blue one goes to?

Or for that matter, anyone have a list of where all the electrical connectors from the wiring loom go? I'm afraid the injector isn't the only one I'll have problems with.

Thanks so much folks.

Joa

Any possibility the "mystery" injector is the CSI?

Is there any way to make sure? The only other white plug in the harness is located way away from the other ones so I'm not so sure about that one.

Where do the vacuum lines on the idle up valve go and when does it raise the idle

If I took a picture of the entire wiring harness and cirled each connector with a number by it could you all help identify each connector? That would really be a benefit to the group I would imagine. Perhaps put it in the part number thread?

Where would I host the pictures?

Thanks.

The connector for the idle up valve under the throttle body is blue too. It plugs into the backside of the valve. It bolts to the manifold with 2 10mm head bolts and has several coolant hoses connected to it along with two larger hoses, one goes to the throttle body on the pass side and the other goes to the intake plenum by the cold start injector.

Boy, I'm just not seeing where this darn blue connector goes. I have everything else hooked up but can't hook the blue connector up.

The black connector goes to the cold start valve (the valve near the top, driver side of the throttle plenum where the little fuel line connects in). At least that's what the colors suggest (black and green I believe).

The good news is that I started it up tonight. Still needs to be timed and there's a rattly/scraping noise from around the belt area but I'll hopefully figure all that out.

Someone let me know if you have a good pic of the blue connector mounted on the engine, will you?

Thanks folks.

Joa

That valve is refered to as the "Auxiliary Air Valve" in my FSM (AAV). I believe the connector *is* blue as you said.

The "idle up valve" referred to by CJM is referred to as a "vacuum switching valve" in my FSM, & although I'm not 100% sure, I believe it its actuated by the ECU when in 4WD to cut vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator.
