I agree with Gary, it is only on the rear in OZ. I found out the hard way when dodging a sheep on fine gravel. No matter how hard I push on the pedal, I haven't once felt what has been described as the ABS shudder when it tries to compensate. Maybe the rear drums are just too weak to have any locking power??? I guess if OZ is the only country to have rear ABS then it's pointless asking anyone over there about the problem.
I wonder if it can be bypassed to make it a standard braking system, hence giving the rear a bit of ooompffff? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Not that I'd try it myself of course, it's one thing to try and make it go faster yourself, but making it stop quicker is playing with danger!!
