NO, My mind played a dirty trick on me and I thought it said injector. I thought it sounded weird, why would one injector make so much difference I thought So I shruged it off. Well doesn't hurt to try it . So how do you test the ignitor/Coil? Replace the old with a new and see if it works? I did however forget to mention while I was messing around with the timing/spark system a while back I did manage to blow my EFI fuse once. Don't know if this helps or not, but it did happen, replaced it and it hasn't done it since. Thanks again EVERYONE for the troubleshooting Tips, GOI

Don't know, good question. I'll check that out today. Any pointers on the ignitor/coil test Tips?

Im not sure how to do the test. I just borrowed the whole coil/ignitor assembly from another truck and it fired right up. (about 10 min fix) I had the exact same symptoms and tried many of the test you've been running through. Bought the new TPS, tested the injector wires, had the injectors tested and cleaned, etc....

Well, Pulled the EFI fuse, waited and the "everything is ok" signal came up. So I assume that all the relays and stuff are ok.
Next Question: There are a couple of wires that go towards the tranny. Maybe 2/3 wires. What do these do? They were never attached before but they do go to the ECU, so I am currious. Also there is a sensor or something that comes out of the tranny from the driverside. It is not attached to anything, But I have 2 black wires hanging from there, I would assume it would be the reverse sensor, since my reverse lights don't light up and that is not connected.
Comments are always apreciated. GOI

4WD switch in the t-case, ECU sees that signal and the 4WD light on the dash. Reverse light switch in the tranny, makes the backup lights work. Should be it unless you have an automatic.

Those connectors hook up to the tranny reverse switch and the xfer case 4WD indicator. You can just cut the connector off and splice the wires together since your reverse switch is missing its connector. The xfer case should have a connector coming out of the shifter area near the top of the xfer case on the side. The connectors are different so you can't hook them up incorrectly. Just connect the xfer case one first so you know which one is the reverse light wires. Jeff

UPDATE:
I STILL don't have this thing running yet. I have finally sucked up my pride and am letting a shop take over and find this problem. I have tried everything that I know and have tried everyone's suggestions, except for the ignitor/coil. The I was told by the toyota dealer mechanic that if it RUNS on starting fluid then it can't be ignition system.
I am going on vacation for a week and have desided that the truck can be worked on while I'm gone. The problem isn't going to fix its self, or will it?
I will reply back when I hear something from the local toyota mechanic.
