Good idea to check the transfer case output. We did have a leak there and just replaced the seal. However, I recall having read that one should put some RTV somewhere on there and I know I did not do that. Anyone remember the post on this? This has been posted many times and it was one thing Marlin told me to make sure I do. I just wiped black FIPG on the splines on the inside of the flange. What ever pooped out I left and stuck the washer and nut on. No leaks so far and I did that at least four years ago.
