That's exactly what Jerry said, re-read his note! Note that he gave you wire colors too, that's what you need to look at. You should be able to SEE at least the wires on the air regulator when you look through the fender well opening, and know at a glance if that's the problem. If it IS the problem, then the fun starts trying to get them connectors off and back on again.

I believe that it's the solenoid that switches the vacuum to the fuel regulator... tell me this:

Where does the vacuum hose on top of the fuel regulator go to on your truck ?
