It is already available 3:1 t-case gearing for the 'low' ratio. I have already install it in my car and tested it with perfect results So the 5.29 with 32's is a good combination of off-road ability with 'low' fuel consumption

me too me too that would be a big upgrade although it would be nice to be locked front and rear and have 5.29s but i i'll take what i can get plus i was thinking of throwing samuri axles underneath lockers are really cheap plus they have a rear disk brake conversion.

sounds like a great idea, but how difficult would it be to convert the axle from leaf springs to coils?

I dunno about those Samuri axles... done a little research and met a few people. I think if you have a two door, Toyota axles would be better A LOT stronger and you can get 5.71 ratio, if you have a four door I think Dave has the best set up with Dana 44's. With 44's you could go with 5.89's and have a wide stance for any off camber spots you might be up against. Here is a two door with Toyota axles. Mind you he's got 2 inch spacers on each hub and offset his wheels by 2 inches. Still an amazing rig, I met him and got to see the kia over the weekend, the pictures dont do it justice. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/rockfreek/Rk%20Drg%20Rcs/DSC01570.jpg
