I think that there is a misunderstanding here.
I contact Michael and he informed me that he sent e-mails with the following prices

Front locker 975 USD $$$
Rear locker 1105 USD $$$

plus shipping.

He also mentioned that an ARB locker in Greece costs approx 1100 USD $$$.

I want to add that these are the prices that me also paid for the lockers.

I just wonder which is the cost of an ARB airlocker in USA or in Australia...

oh ok, that is better.

in his email to me, it sounded like he meant euros because he was talking about the exchange of greek currency and such. that is not to bad then.

thanks for clearing that up. i will be able to get them sooner than i thought then!!!

any idea on the price of shipping to alberta canada?

as well, what are the prices on the transfer case gears?

thanks again! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey mates!!!
I think that I live in the wrong country for off roading!!!
Everything in USA is cheaper than in Greece.
I was looking for tyres (Super Swamper Bogger 38.5/11/16)and the price is as follows:

Greece: 422$
USA : 210$

It is exactly the half price.
Could anyone help to be supplied these tyres from US???

Anyway let's go to the lockers again.
There is the possibility of a lower cost for the lockers if someone from US could send to Greece the spider gears of the diffs. They are very expensive in Greece and this cost transfered to the locker.
Any volunteer to help???

Thank you very much.

For the rear spider gears there are not seperate part numbers at the version with LSD. The only possibility is the version with 2wd and open diff. In that case there are part numbers for the spider gears. Take care that for the rear there are two different splines 26 and 28. It is needed both. The side gears are the same.

For the front spider gears there are indepedent part numbers in any case.
Please let me know if you need the part numbers.

Just thinking outside the box here, but if the spider gears are needed from the open diff then why can't we just get the parts from Greece to complete the locker and put it together here?

Most of the people here have an open rear diff and if they have to pull the gears and ship them to Greece and then get a full diff back why not just send the parts from Greece to complete the project on this side of the ocean?

It could be done, but it is necessary at least one set for the rear diff in order to be made according to the exact dimensions.
One of the side gears has the locking mechanism on it. So It is necessary to be with the locker. Don't forget that it is needed 4 spider gears.

It is bit complicated. The gears were made by a friend of me, and assempled by Michael. The problem is that this friend does not want to make more gears because it wa stoo hard for him. From the other side we have no any drawings because I could not imagine this fact. The samples do not exist any more and the real gears are in my transfer. So for the moment seems to be difficult to get any other set of gears.
You can easy get any time the lockers with the lower ring and pinions.
