I've always powerwashed (car wash) the engines in all my vehicles with no trouble. The only problem I've ever had was getting some water in the distributer cap, a squirt of wd-40 takes care of that easily.

I've done it to the engine in my rodeo probably 8 times since I bought it last september, never a problem.

For those of us in apartments using a hose to wash with isnt an option.
