I did lose and AC compressor bearing by power washing. I think that it actually drove the fine silt that I had driven though into the bears. it squeeled something god awful for about a year before I rplaced it. THis could also happen to any of your pullies as well. Id try one of the sprays witha hose over power washing just my 2 cents
