And I would rather be where I'm at than in, say, Chicago or New York. About the same temperature, but we are way drier.
Too bad the pictures aren't still in that story about the truck with the generator.

You have to give the guy credit, he didn't put the generator in the back seat. A little self contained, generator/AC unit would be a big seller right about now in Queens after the 10 day blackout <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I remeber it. He did not make it look bad. He put it below the rear window behind the seat. It was far enough down you could not see it from the side of the truck. Plus he had the usefullnes of a generator all the time. It was not nearly as bad as it sounds such as the pics above.

wouldn't a 110v converter work better than a gas powered generator?
