No threadlocker required on any of the engine fastners if their torqued properly. I used anti-seize on all of the bolts that thread directly into aluminum such as the oil pump bolts that thread into the timing cover. Dont forget the sealant on the top oil pump bolt so it doesnt leak oil. I also used the included anti-seize stuff on the headbolts that came with my engnbldr kit.
