I pulled a real dumbhead move bolting the head on last night. I failed to put the gasket on the exhaust downpipe before bolting it up. Now I get to attempt to move the downpipe with the old crossover welded in place out of the way <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> I did find out it is possible to remove the nuts from the header, albeit a PITA, but the header won't come off with the downpipe there <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> I'm hoping to keep myself from buying a new headgasket and set of bolts, and am kicking myself for my haste <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />


'94 extra-cab 3.0 extra slo (auto tranny) original owner. E/B o/s valve heads and no more crossover. More mods to come.
