The original ECM (computer) is thrown in the garbage can when installing EFI. It is therefore no longer in control of the ignition module (unless you drive with veeeerrrrryyyy long wires).

Hopefully this makes some sort of flicker in the cranial light bulb <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />.
