I think the whole truck would be a bit overkill, add a lot of weight to your truck, and be kind of pricey, unless you went with black. I looked into colored duraback for my flatbed and it was $120+/gallon. Using black would be cheaper, but black would make your rig hot as hell, I parked next to a Cherokee that was done in line-x and it radiated more heat than my black truck does. The other problem with using black is that would fade faster than the colored stuff, so while it would look good when it was finished, in 6months it would be a faded grey color. If you are looking for new color/protection, I would repaint the top part of the truck and do the lower 1/3 in durabak. There is a post here a couple of weeks ago with a link to where a guy used a roll on acrylic/enamel paint by Tremclad(Rustoleum here in the states). The car in the pics looked incredible, and according to the author, the paint is really durable and tough.
