I am getting ready to do this modification to my T100 and would like to know if there is anything different I should do vs. what the Tacoma guys have to do. I noticed there is quite a bit of room on the front of the filter housing and wanted to know, Should I only go with the 4.25" hole or should I do two smaller holes? and Do I need to cut out part of the radiator support to allow for better flow to the front of the air filter? I also noticed that some Tacoma owners are removing the elbow where the air box goes into the front fender area, Has anyone tried this? I will be using my stock filter for awhile until it needs to be replaced at which point I will plan on going with an Amsoil or other brand of filter.
Thanks in advance for your input!
Kevin
