Guys: I dropped the tranny on my '95 trooper to fix a whirring sound when the clutch pedal was depressed. I'm going to replace clutch, pressure plate, bearings, cat converter, muffler, o2 sensor, etc while everything is pulled. One thing thaty surprised me, was that there was some greasy deposits inside the bellhousing,. The clutch and pressure plate were quite clane, byut the the throwout bearing was really gummed up. Also, the plate behind the fywheel has a bit of oil on it . Any advice?
