Should bolt right up, but only with 4 of the 8 bolts. The 2nd Gen's also mount to the front body mount which is completely different from the 1st gen's... but really, it's not a big deal.

Now - will it fit right? I can't speak to that. My 86 x-cab had an ARB front bumper off of my 94 4Runner. Bolted on with minor mods to get around the front spring mounts (SAS'd).

Adam - what exactly didn't line up when you tried the other bumper?
