well, it turns out that the axle must have been tweaked a little. Once I got the front put back together, I drove the Amigo to the end of the driveway and back, then tried the track bar again. It was a LOT closer this time, so I climbed my 275 lbs onto the bumper and my wife slid the bolt right in. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Now I am just trying to get the front level. I keep tightening the torsion bars, lowering it off the jack, bouncing around on it, then measuring, and it seems like it goes up, then starts drooping back down. Right now the back is at 37.5" and the front is at 34.5 from the ground to the bottom of the fender. I guess it will take some time to get it right. Also, my front wheels are like \ / really bad. That alignment is going to have to come soon!

Measure from the frame and there should be a small forward rake 1/2 inch or so

Jacking up the driver's side worked for me.
