Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Fuel pump longevity û I thought it was around 280k for my 85 4runner. But this turned out to be not true. I broke down coming out of Saline Valley Rd (South Way). I got my brother to tow me home to San Diego. I narrowed the problem down to no fuel - via the access hatch under the rear seat û loosen the fuel line and no fuel. Went to the dealer pick up a fuel pump. I went to replace the fuel pump and the pipe was separate at the top of the access point (inside the gas tank). Returned the fuel pump and bought a new access point /fuel pump holder. Keep in mind that there is a long one and a short one. I learned this the hard way as well. So, to make a long story short I donÆt knowà
