Boring but satisfying.
So, if you were to try to show your enviro-friendly mother what you do out in the woods with your truck, what manner of video clips would you use? Rock climbing? Muddin'? High speed desert runnin? Or maybe just a slow stroll thru the woods, down near the river? :great:
You can guess what I picked. I think she'll accept the fact that I try to tread lightly. Now that I think of it, I should have included a clip of me picking up trash down there (which I did but forgot to vid it). :bigok:

That was very nice...I almost felt the presence of John Denver. Where was that? It didn't look like the Iowa I remember...but then all I remember is blistering cold. I lived in the DesMoines area for a couple of years (Van Meter)
What music was that?

By the end I was surprised that you hadn't found a fawn and pat it on the head.

I knew I'd heard it before...never been a Zep fan. I still want to know where this was shot. Nice place.

That was actually really cool. I've been pretty anxious all day and that calmed me right down I've always loved that Zep song and you fit a nice lookin yota into it just right. It made me wanna go roll around in the leaves

When y'all go out enviro-wheelin', do you take a garbage bag or two to help cut down on litter? Participate in trail cleanups? Just curious. Do they have such things?

I always keep a fresh one on my tacklebox, and do so when I fish- not to bad most places, but when I go home to the banks of the mighty Ohio River, it's easy to fill a bag up quickly. Also, have participated in river sweeps for as long as I can remember.

Sorry, I lost track of this post, normally, I try to keep track of topics that I've created.

Dude, that area is right in Des Moines, it's called 'Coon Valley. It's pretty much shut down anymore.

And yes, as mentioned above, it's a Zeppelin tune, Bron-Yr-Ar. I'm amazed that guy above recognized it. Really amazing, I didn't think that anyone had even heard that tune, much less recognize it 25 years later.
