Getting the Wheeling Fever

I used to "putz around" at the speed limit for gas mileage purposes using cruise control.

Then I had a week where the cruise control didn't work, so I did things manually, and found myself in the 70 mph range.

I too noticed better mileage at the higher speed w/o cruise control. Couple things I attributed it to: drafting, and cruise control being too aggressive when going up hill.
