Body Damage is Cool
having my truck 2" lower and nose down a bit helped my gas mileage by 2mpg, and its getting better since cleaning the T.B. again.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm curious about the math. Is the diminishing return of miles v. effort at about 60 mph, or is it a range of 45-??? mph? I'm also considering removing a steel rack (less than 200 lbs) from the bed for the winter. I've had mixed opinions about the actual drag the rack creates.

I think on a flat level reach (in imaginaryland) the best range is 68-75...
or at least that works for me. Needless to say I almost passed out when I saw I spent 500 in gas last month. NJ-ME-NJ run...

Hey!!!...I resemble that remark...... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
As I now live in Texas on the Gulf coastal prairie, the only hill I encounter is an occasional overpass.
Suppose I'll just relax and let the "lil T" cruise at 70 MPH.

Really appreciate all the info/opinions, guys...
I'm sure there will be more questions as I intend to hang on to this truck awhile.

Living in MI driving about a steady 65-75 I get a solid 20 or 21. This is with the truck in my sig. I have 31" LTXs with a 4.10 rear I turn about 3100rpm at 70mph 2950rpm at 65mph. I think that with these trucks just have a sweat spot with the 5spd that it doesn't have to work so hard when its turning that fast since its in the meat of the powerband. Anyways thats just my observations.
