The broken down jeep was in a very tough spot on the trail. It was on some rocks on a boulder climb with a sharp turn. Somehow they were able to move it out of the way so you could just squeeze by. The jeep had been there for sometime that day. The owners were not around. We first stoped thinking the owner was just scouting the rock climb ahead then noticed that it was briken down. While we were at the spot figuring out how to go aroung the jeep, another jeep showed up. They seemed surprise to see us there. They were acting really weird and told us that the jeep was there for sometime now. How they knew that I don't know. They asked us for grease and then made a u turn on the rocks and left. They just came down a technical rock climb and now they are just making a u turn and leaving???? The jeep they were in was newer and did not have a winch. I think if those boys had the chance something was going to be missing from that broken down jeep. We ran into the the suspicious characters later on that day on the trail. They were back in tow with their other jeep budies, about 5 of them. These guys were just plain rude and not concerned with anyone else out on the trails. We actually stopped under some trees to take a break and they came buy driving real fast and threw dust all over us. Peole please slow down or pull over when passing vehicles, hikers, bicycles, and or dirt bikes. It's the right thing to do, plus you might just create a trend. These are the same guys that throw their trash out on the trail. Bad cheap beer drinking <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />
