My truck has 235,000 miles on it now. half the stuff he mentioned probably doesn't need done and the other half you should be able to do with minimal skill. The only shop work my truck has seen is I had the trans serviced this winter. That was cause I had a sensor light on for over a year. I got the sensor from the dealer and gave it to the tranny guy. Do a little shade tree stuff-get a service manual like a chilton or haynes. and go bit by bit.
