Looks great. I wish I lived in Colorado where they actually consider off-roaders a legitimate user's group of public lands. Where was Zu 8 located? I've done climbing in Colorado, but not wheeling.

I'd like to reiterate this.

The KOA campsite that's in Buena Vista is run by some really cool people. Very 4x4-friendly, as well as just plain clean and well-organized. The owners are awesome.

After the first day of wheeling, I had gone into town to get some food and ice for the following day - so I was a little behind the group. So we pull into the campground, doing our 7 1/2 MPH speed limit like the signs say, and I look over to see Corbin, Dan, and Aaron wheeling the living snot out of the gully in the middle of the campground - right out in front of the office. Turns out, there's a gully that runs straight through the parking lot (basically) where they've stacked rocks and dumped sand. And those guys are crawling on 'em.

The owner had specifically asked us if we wanted to screw around on their landscaping. There was a large crowd there - some guy was on his phone talking to his friend saying things like "You wouldn't believe these guys!". The owner and staff were just hanging out, talking with guests, laughing. Kids were running around (at a distance) just going ga-ga over the Tonka toys. And when we left the following day for Chinaman's Gulch?

The owner came back over to us and said "You all gonna come entertain us again tonight when you get back?"

Needless to say: if we have CoZu9 in Buena Vista next year, we know where we're staying.

Looks like a great time. Too bad I missed it. Dont think my stock rodeo would do chinamans but should have been able to do the alpine tunnel. Hopefully next year I can plan better and get the days off.

BTW lots of mushrooms along Saints Johns / Deer Creek Trail also (near Keystone). http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c337/Gizmo420/Saints%20John/

Hehe your Rodeo can do it. This Rodeo is mostly stock, simple T-bar crank and shackle 2" lift on 265/75r-16s.

[Linked Image][Linked Image]

Steve was stock except for rocker protection at CoZU 7. But Steve did bang bottomside on 99% of the rocks on Chinamans gulch

Rocker protection should be considered mandatory or not caring if doors open easy again

I definatly need a lift and 32's. Did Yankee Hill and Loch Lomond trails with Mike (protetype on the planet) today and did some damage trying to back over smaller rocks then in that first pic. I definatly need some sliders too, they have to wait on funding though (specially now that I need a new exhaust )

Carnage pics at the end of THIS THREAD

The common thread in all of the galleries seems to be shrooms.

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.
