Ok , I found the port You should have said it was onthe bellhousing itself Here I was looking all over on the main part by the small pan and couldn't find anything. Its actualy on the bellhousing side of where the bellhousing and tranny join up.

Of course I couldn't find my metric number 11 wrench , so I used a 7/16 box end to take the bolt out that plugs the port.I think all the temp senders are the same size , but if not , you can get the setup I got.Its B&M transmission temperature guage part #80212 , and the sender has the right threads to just screw right in.This will be a piece of cake to hook up this way instead of trying to mess around with the lines and fittings they give you.Basicaly its screw in the sending unit , then wire in the guage , can't go wrong there Just remember to follow the instructions on grouning as it has to be properly grounded or it no workie. That goes for the sending unit and the guage , depending how you mount the guage.

If you do end up getting a different brand of guage , just take the bolt that was plugging the hole (don't drive the truck after you do this ) and the auto parts place can double check to make sure the sending unit is plug and play.Hope this helps you out
