I have broken my inner axle and want to get my birf. off. The problem is that it broke off about an inch or so away from the bell. That knocks out all the ways I know how to seperate them, like droping it throuth a vise (not enought weight to pull it out) or putting the inner in a vice and beating it off (not enough inner to realy grab on to plus its on the taper of course <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />).

I've thought about drilling and tapping it with a good size bolt, but that sounds like a lot of work and a realy tuff drill bit.

This allways seams to be the place to get info. Any help would be nice. Thanks
