Those sound like numbers for the C223-T diesel. The 4JB1-TC I've got is rated at about 110 HP and 175 lb./ft. torque (actually, those numbers are for the 4JB1-T non-intercooled engine, so mine may make a bit more). A fair amount more is possible with boost and fuel adjustments. I have read reports about the clutches slipping due to dust or similar - we shall see.

We've got to take up a collection to get this fellow a camera! Very interesting...

As an aside, is there a reason the 4.3 V6 diesel from a RWD car would not work for this conversion?
