I need to regar to 4.88, and I have an opportunity to get a pretty good deal on a set + master istall kit of Motive's. In searching, I'm not finding many opnions on them, and they are mized.
Get the impression that Yukon and Genuine are more preferable? Is this correct?
While I wil ladmit I can be a notorious cheapskate, gears are pretty important and I don't mind the $$ if it's worth it...

With 200+ Billion electrical parts, the world most complicated machine is inside your own skull.

Question Reality.

IMO yukons are like a box of chocolates; you never know what you are gonna get. I like richmond, then precision, then motive, then genuine, then yukon. JMO

Long and short regardless of what you get is to INSPECT your stuff WHEN it shows up.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

It was fun re-reading that old thread.....since that thread, I have only had to return 1 gearset back in about May.
It was a Richmond in a Yukon box. Undersized pinion threads. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Back to the question.....nothing wrong with Motive. It's American made.....has a racing background...and the set up is easy. http://www.jawsgear.com/store/catalog/
