Yes, that could do it. But first, I would check your battery connections. I've had loose connections do the same thing on mine and had al kinds of trouble finding it, and I'm a mechanic.

Take a close look at the terminal end on the battery cable itself. Sometimes the bolts on top can work themselves loose even though the terminal is tight to the battery.
