That spring over axle seem's to work really well, ever had any problem's with that setup? I'm looking at going through the same place you did too since they also make custom U bolt's too smile. Could possibly give me a rough idea on price for what it cost ya(if ya dont mind).


Mine is an '85, came that way from the factory for the most part. Front springs were essentially free, half the pack came off the rear axle when I replaced those with the Alcan springs (about $450, shipped, for the set) and the other half of the pack came from a buddy's pickup when he replaced his stock springs.
