Hi everyone
My Trooper didn't want to fire up this morning, so I pulled one of the glow plugs out and tested it. Its toasted. The end is corroded and it doesn't get warm when I apply 12 votls to it. I hope they are 12 volts <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
Anyway they look original and I need to replace them. They are NGK and it looks like the model #8594. I searched the archives and found all sorts of other interesting goodies which were so enthralling I forgot what I was looking for.
I went to the NGK site, no luck, Tropper II C223T engine not listed. I went to glowplugs.com, this site blows. Then I went to NAPA.com Napa glow plug
This is showing the same glow plug for the turbo as the NA engine. This can't be right.
So, I am back and asking if anyone knows what the proper glow plug for my 1986 Trooper II C223T engine is and if anyone knows where I can order a set of 4 for less than the $27 each NAPA wants for them?
Thanks
